Stage 1 Fire Restrictions enacted

Once the trick-or-treaters have gone and those jack-o’-lanterns start looking a little too spooky, bring them to the Mesa County Landfill Compost Facility — for free! Help us keep rotting fall decor out of the landfill by giving your pumpkins a proper send-off to be used for compost.

When: Now through Thanksgiving, Nov. 23, 2024

Where: Mesa County Landfill, 3071 US-50, Grand Junction

Hours: Wednesday – Saturday, 8 a.m. to 4:15 p.m.

Please remove candles, lights, plastic, or other decorations before drop-off.

Let’s keep Mesa County clean and festive through the season.
