Teen returns traffic cones to County

Kudos to the parents who made their teen return traffic cones to Mesa County Public Works. The teen took traffic cones from a few construction sites because, “they were just sitting there.”

Traffic cones divide lanes of traffic, provide direction around road maintenance and utility projects, and alert drivers to difficult-to-see hazards.

Parenting is hard. We thank the parents for taking time out of their day to model the correct behavior by stepping up and showing us how it’s done.
