Stage 1 Fire Restrictions enacted

Effective beginning 12:01 a.m. Friday, June 12, 2026, until further notice. These restrictions apply to all private land and BLM managed public lands within the boundaries of the Grand Junction Field Office. For more information visit the Fire Restrictions webpage.

The fleet that supports various Mesa County departments is in need of replacement vehicles and equipment, which the Board of Mesa County Commissioners approved during their Aug. 5 public hearing

The approved replacement budget is $2.46 million. This amount was approved and adopted in Mesa County’s 2025 vehicle and equipment capital replacement budget request.
