Stage 1 Fire Restrictions enacted

Effective beginning 12:01 a.m. Friday, June 12, 2026, until further notice. These restrictions apply to all private land and BLM managed public lands within the boundaries of the Grand Junction Field Office. For more information visit the Fire Restrictions webpage.

Watch the Mesa County Facilities Director give the Board of County Commissioners an update and overview during the April 23, 2024, administrative public hearing. 

The presentation focuses on the work the department is doing around our county in facilities, open spaces and parks, and emergency communication radio towers and highlights progress on the Clifton Community Campus and De Beque Community Center, both scheduled to open this summer.
