Stage 1 Fire Restrictions enacted

Effective beginning 12:01 a.m. Friday, June 12, 2026, until further notice. These restrictions apply to all private land and BLM managed public lands within the boundaries of the Grand Junction Field Office. For more information visit the Fire Restrictions webpage.

Learn more about the corridor alignment recommendations for the Riverfront Trail at the open house on Tuesday, Dec. 3, from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Clifton Community Center, 3270 D 1/2 Road in Clifton.

For nearly 40 years, Mesa County, the City of Grand Junction, the City of Fruita, the Town of Palisade, Colorado Parks and Wildlife, and One Riverfront have worked together to develop the Colorado Riverfront Trail.

We are excited to hear your input on corridor alignment recommendations in person at the open house or through our online portal!
