Stage 1 Fire Restrictions enacted

Effective beginning 12:01 a.m. Friday, June 12, 2026, until further notice. These restrictions apply to all private land and BLM managed public lands within the boundaries of the Grand Junction Field Office. For more information visit the Fire Restrictions webpage.

At the Oct. 15 public hearing, the Mesa County Commissioners approved the Clerk and Recorder's purchase of 12 new Ballot On-Demand printers from Runbeck Election Services — a $105,300 investment that will save taxpayer dollars and make our elections more secure.

These printers allow ballots to be printed on-site at Voter Service and Polling Centers on demand, reducing the need to pre-print and store multiple stacks of ballots. By printing ballots only when needed, we will cut down on waste and keep our election process even safer.

Visit the Elections Department webpage to view a full list of the Drop Box and Voter Service and Polling Center Locations for the Nov. 5 General Election.
