Stage 1 Fire Restrictions enacted

Effective beginning 12:01 a.m. Friday, June 12, 2026, until further notice. These restrictions apply to all private land and BLM managed public lands within the boundaries of the Grand Junction Field Office. For more information visit the Fire Restrictions webpage.

You can safely dispose of e-cigarettes, vape pens, and e-liquid at the Mesa County Hazardous Waste Collection Facility, 3071 Hwy. 50, for free. 

Vape battery packs and nicotine are regulated hazardous waste and should NOT be thrown into your regular trash or put in the drain.

Help keep our community safe and clean by disposing of hazardous waste properly.
