GVT is the public bus system for Mesa County that provides bus routes in Grand Junction, Palisade, and Fruita. Riders can buy bus fare on their phone using the Token Transit app, and see real-time bus locations using the TripSpark MyRide app. GVT is committed to making travel accessible and to ensure fair service for all riders.

GVT Will Be Fare Free During the Month of August, 2026

Grand Valley Transit (GVT) will offer free trips on all fixed-routes and paratransit during the month of August this year. GVT is designed to increase mobility options for residents in the Grand Valley.
